I started my journey with cancer eleven years ago when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2001. I went through chemotherapy at that time and for a while everything was good. Then in July 2012 I found out that the cancer had returned and had spread to my liver and spleen. It turns out that when I had a total hysterectomy as part of my treatment, one cell escaped and that is what showed up in the liver and spleen eleven years later. I am back on chemotherapy, have lost my hair again, but the cancer markers have gone down. So the doctor is very happy and so am I. Having this photoshop has made me feel so good and and I want to thank the wonderful people at The Turning Heads Project for making this possible.<\/p>\n
