One nice thing has come of this bout with cancer. Cancer has totally reinforced my belief in the goodness of people. If I am out shopping or something, and I run into a problem I can approach a total stranger, any stranger, and just ask if they would be so kind as to help me…..and they always graciously say “YES”. Whether it is something like reading a label for me or helping me down a curb (it is funny how deep curbs have gotten) or whatever. People are wonderful. Thank you and God Bless. I now know any stranger is just someone waiting to be a true and dear friend.
